The 2016 Spring Hill Ranch Pinot Noir walks the tight balance between richness and delicateness.  This wine is a beautiful garnet color with notes of forest floor, mushroom and pomegranate.  As this wine continues to evolve in the glass, hints of black tea and bergamot emerge with a core of tobacco and all spice.  This wine will continue to age beautifully over next decade. 

"The 2016 Pinot Noir Springhill Ranch is pale ruby-purple in color and displays quite a stemmy nose to begin, giving way to a provocative perfume of raspberry tart, freshly crushed cherries and redcurrants with hints of cinnamon stick, potpourri, tilled soil and mossy bark. Medium-bodied, the palate sports bags of finesse with a great intensity of nuanced red berries and earthy layers plus a refreshing line and firm, grainy tannins, finishing very long." -Robert Parker
